- Tow Cutter Reels
The Surface Enhancement Co Ltd, (SEC Ltd), Design, Manufacture and Repair Radial Blade Tow Cutter Reels to cut synthetic fibre tow, with cut lengths from 1/8 to 12 inches,( 1.5 mm to 300 mm).
The Reels are of a unique bolted construction being manufactured from either carbon or stainless steel and aluminium. The bolted concept (versus welded construction), in addition to allowing the use of higher strength steels, facilitates the removal and re-insertion of damaged columns (blade holders) and blades within minutes. Maintenance time: are reduced to a minimum and we can re-design your existing welded construction cutter reels to incorporate our bolted concept.

We have in-house facilities, and excellent relationships with quality suppliers, to surface treat metallic component: with plasma and HVOF coatings, with chrome and electronickel plating and coatings for friction and release. We can finish to "super-finish" standards or leave the coatings "as applied".
- Repair Services And Crimper Roll Repairs
We have been repairing and replacing crimper rolls for fibr, producers for over 15 years. Crimper rolls are always refurbished to "as-new" standard and we provide the following service in all cases:
· Regrind tyres (shells), as matched pairs
· Repair worn journals with hard chromium plate.
· Manufacture forged shafts and tyres
· Replace cracked and damaged tyres
